Lautaro and Taremi are in trouble in this start to the season

The two strikers in trouble in this start to the season, while on the Nerazzurri coach too much criticism.
Numbers don't always tell the whole story, but when it comes to Lautaro Martinez they come to the rescue to explain a lot.
The numbers, indeed, tell of Lautaro struggling to find the path to goal after twelve days.
The striker has scored six goals so far: five in the league and one in the Champions League against Crvena zvezda. Last season the goals scored by the striker after twelve matches were even 11, 2 in the Champions League.
In two years Lautaro has practically never stopped, having skipped the entire preparation certainly affected the performance of the Argentine, someone who never spares himself on the pitch.
“I played 90 minutes with Venezia, the more I play the better I am”, were his statements at the end of the match against Arsenal. In truth, Lautaro appeared tired against Napoli.
Taking advantage of the last international break of the national teams, Toro could have asked Scaloni to leave him in Milan, two weeks full of training would have surely helped him to find a better condition than the current one.
If Lautaro does not shine, the same can be said of Mehdi Taremi.
Arriving after an excellent four seasons at Porto, the Iranian striker has so far not given what was expected when he landed at Milan in the summer.
14 appearances and one goal in 564 minutes played in a Nerazzurri shirt. It is not easy to make a difference when you have few minutes at your disposal, but if against Napoli, with Lautaro and Thuram underwhelming, Inzaghi decides to throw him on the pitch only in the 82nd minute, some questions arise.
Perhaps the coach does not trust him completely? The answers will probably come later.
Speaking of Inzaghi, there is always a certain acrimony towards the coach. A rancour that comes mainly from the Inter Milan fans themselves and not only from some insiders.
Perhaps the Scudetto won by AC Milan still stings, but many forget in what conditions Inzaghi's adventure on the Nerazzurri bench began (via Hakimi and Lukaku in the same session) and how much he won afterwards.
“We must continue to work like this. In the last 10 games we have had eight wins and two draws, we are Inter Milan and it should have been 10 wins,”said the coach after the match against Napoli.
A stylistic jab at those who expect to win every single matches forgetting how much Inter Milan had spent in terms of physical and mental energy only three days before with Arsenal.
