Carlos Augusto's condition. His condition will be assessed next week
Medical exams for the Brazilian full-back, substituted during the match against Young Boys
This morning, Carlos Augusto underwent an MRI scan at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas in Rozzano after he picked up an injury during Wednesday's match against Young Boys.
The medical tests revealed a muscular strain in the flexors of his left thigh.
His condition will be assessed next week.
Certainly Carlos Augusto will be unavailable for Inter Milan's next match, the big match against Juventus scheduled for Sunday, 27 November at San Siro.
The medical staff together with the coach will monitor the Brazilian's recovery without risking losing him for more time, which is why he will probably not be risked in the following league games at Empoli (Oct. 30) and at home against Venezia (Nov. 3) either. He is also expected to miss the Champions League match against Arsenal and the one with Napoli.
He could return in the 23 November challenge at the Bentegodi against Verona.
So far Carlos Augusto has played all three Champions League matches and always as a starter, including the one with Young Boys in which he was substituted; in the league he has started only once from the start, totaling six total appearances over eight Serie A days.
In addition to him, the other outfielders available to Inzaghi are Dumfries, Darmian, Dimarco and Buchanan, who is ready to return to the field after recovering from an injury suffered in the summer.
