Calhanoglu: "I had said that I would stay at Inter Milan and they will not let me go anyway"

The international break is coming to an end and players are ready to return to their clubs.

The midfielder of Turkey and Inter Milan spoke after the match also about summer transfer market rumours.

After the Turkey match won against Iceland  3-1, Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu commented on his performance and also the interest he had during the summer transfer market session:
"When it comes to me, there are always critics, I try to turn a deaf ear.
Not to sound cheeky, but after 21 years, a Turkish player has participated again in the Golden Ball, I’m proud of it. 

After all, I serve my country in the best way possible".

In recent months, his stay at Inter Milan has been questioned:

"I have received many offers in the past months, but I had said that I would stay at Inter Milan and Inter Milan will not let me go anyway. 

So, as I said, it’s not something that I can decide. I’ll try to play at the highest level.
"As for the national team, I want to be able to play the 100th national game. 

It has always been my goal. If my body wants it, I will try to continue my football life as long as I can".
