Juventus has set its sights on a former Inter Milan defender
Former Serie A Star Inter Milan Skriniar Emerges as a Key Target
It’s no secret that Juventus is already gearing up for the January transfer window. The long-term absences of Bremer and Cabal have triggered an urgent search for at least one defensive replacement. The latest twist? A familiar face from Serie A, previously with Inter Milan, could be the solution.
Skriniar Gives the Green Light
The player in question is Milan Skriniar, the Slovakian defender who has found himself on the fringes at PSG. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Skriniar has reportedly expressed interest in a move to Juventus.
The former Sampdoria man is said to be intrigued by the idea of playing in Turin, and his initial openness to the transfer could provide Juventus with a strong starting point for negotiations.
However, the Bianconeri are only considering a loan deal, which would require cooperation from the Parisian club. Despite the good relationship between the two teams, Skriniar’s substantial salary—€10 million (£8.3 million) per year, excluding bonuses—remains a significant hurdle.
Giuntoli Addresses the Rumors
“Bremer’s injury was a heavy blow, but we have valid solutions,” said Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli. “Right now, we’re dealing with several injuries and managing player workloads.
It has made us less sharp in some matches and more effective in others. Skriniar? It’s too early to discuss. Things change quickly in football.
At the moment, we’re not making any moves but are keeping a close eye on developments.”
