Rumours: Maurizio Romei claims Inter Milan are genuinely interested in Federico Chiesa
Romei revealed that Inter Milan interest is true
The contract of Federico Chiesa, Juventus left winger, is due to expire on 30 June 2025, and he does not seem to fit into Thiago Motta’s technical plans.
The Bianconeri would obviously like to give it up outright to avoid the risk of a farewell to zero parameter in a year, but the situation is evolving.
In Serie A, Daniele De Rossi’s Roma team has been interested in Chiesa for some time, appreciating the boy born in 1997 but has not yet found an understanding with Juventus. On Federico Chiesa, however, there would also be Inter Milan.
The revelation comes from Maurizio Romei, president of Settignanese, discoverer of Chiesa between 2002 and 2007 and his friend. These are his statements to TuttoJuve.com:
"I heard Federico almost every week. I asked him if he stays at Juve, this is it. Federico wants to play in the Champions League. So I told him to go abroad and find a club who can give him confidence again.
Actually I am aware of the interest of Inter Milan, the rumour of their appreciation is real. Chiesa can leave Juventus and certainly, even with other clubs, something can happen from here to late August".
