He underwent to the surgery last Monday, just past the weekend, after the previous Friday he scored in the 4-0 against Atalanta.
He missed the two matches of Italy, including the one scheduled this evening in Budapest against Israel, also because he had to observe a few days rest.
Simone Inzaghi gave to the team a long weekend off, because he will not train today. The training is scheduled for tomorrow, but Barella wanted to make an extra move to approach the recovery.
