Tomas Palacios is the new name for Inter Milan’s defence: negotiations with Talleres can get going in the next few days.
The interest of Inter Milan in Tomas Palacios, a 2003-class defender who is owned by Talleres but currently on loan to Independiente Rivadavia, is no longer a novelty.
The Nerazzurri were impressed by the performance of the defender who could become, if the deal ends in a positive way, the deputy Bastoni.
"In Argentina, already a few months ago, the big clubs started to notice his qualities. Juan Riquelme, president of Boca Junior, also took the first steps for his Boca, but in Argentina they say that "El Mudo" was surprised by the Palacios’s agent, who did not hide his preference for another Argentine club: Velez.
This happened few months ago, in the meantime Palacios' talent has exploded and they have started talking about him outside of national borders, even in Milan".
"Inter Milan is seriously considering it, Ausilio has been studying it for some time and got a positive opinion from the observers.
Palacios is a concrete target for the Nerazzurri and in the next few days the negotiations could get going", says Calciomercato.com.
