Valentin Carboni will be a Marseille player: agreement reached with Inter Milan for this transfer session. Contract until 2029
Inter Milan will soon announce the transfer of Valentin Carboni to Marseille.
The Nerazzurri have defined the agreement with the French, who for weeks pushed to have the class 2005 that likes so much, especially to the new coach Roberto De Zerbi, who is looking forward to working with the young Argentine, fresh from his victory in the Copa America.
Carboni, after the year in Monza, was looking for a space as a starter that Inter Milan could not have granted him.
Inter Milan, however, does not want to lose control over a player and has included a repurchase clause in its contract with Marseille, because there’s a chance that Valentin’s talent will be enhanced by De Zerbi.
The formula is that of loan with right to buy and at a fixed amount.
The figures: 1 million euros (£850.000) at once and 35 million euros (£30 million), if any, at the end of the season for a total of 36 million euros (£31 million) to sell Carboni.
Inter Milan will then have the opportunity, paying 40 million euros (£34 million), to take back the young Argentine, who will sign a contract until 30 June 2029.
The medical visits, as confirmed by the transfermarket expert Nicolò Schira, are scheduled in the next few hours. Then the signing and officially.
