Seventh goal in the league against Atalanta, his 22nd away goal since the beginning of last season, and his 200th victory since joining Inter Milan: it was a special evening for Lautaro Martinez, the heart and soul of an Inter Milan team that achieved a crucial victory at the Gewiss Stadium, demonstrating great strength and quality.

After the win against Atalanta, the Nerazzurri captain analyzed the match and shared his emotions in post-match interviews:

“This is a team victory, we recovered energy and worked well: we knew that Atalanta would make us work hard because they play man-to-man all over the field, but we prepared well thanks to the staff's work. 

In the 90 minutes, we were better than Atalanta in terms of passing and quality; we could have scored more goals, but we’ll take these three points which are very important for us. We are strong, and we show it. 

Sometimes results don’t come, and playing every three days can be tiring, but the team is here and fighting on all fronts. We want to win every game we play. This is our mentality, and we want to continue on this path.”
