Simone Inzaghi and Inter Milan can breathe a sigh of relief. According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Fcinter1908.it the injury suffered by Hakan Calhanoglu during the Nations League match between Turkey and Wales doesn’t appear to be serious.
Hakan had ended the match at the 45th minute due to a recurrence of pain, which the player himself attributed to a previous strain in the adductor of his left thigh, an injury that had kept him out of three Inter Milan matches—against Young Boys, Juventus, and Empoli—at the end of October.
Therefore, a precautionary stop for the Nerazzurri midfielder, who is now expected to return to Milan.
"The goal is to devise an effective recovery plan in order to avoid the risk of a more serious issue. Additional tests are also scheduled upon Calhanoglu's return to Milan," concludes La Gazzetta dello Sport.
