The words of the midfielder and the outfielder after the victory at home to Roma

A difficult match, against an opponent who fought until the last minute: Inter Milan's victory against Roma was the result of great teamwork, with the Nerazzurri able to react to any kind of unforeseen circumstances.

A concept also reiterated by Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Federico Dimarco, with a thought to Lautaro Martinez's performance in their post-match interviews:

"It was important to win, what I did was thanks to my teammates who help me on every occasion, we do our best to win games.

I'm sorry we lost two very important players, I hope it's nothing serious. We are ready to play at a fast pace, we are used to it: it happened last year too and we won all the most important challenges.

We'll also be ready physically to win them and stay higher in the standings. The coach is the only one who has to decide where to let me play, I don't care: it only matters that whoever plays always helps the team to win.

We didn't expect to change Calhanoglu so early, it wasn't an easy situation: Barella played as a playmaker, with Frattesi coming without warming up first, but we did well in midfield, playing a great game and helping each other in every situation."

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

"I'm happy for Lautaro and his new record: we know the player, it's an honour to have him as captain.

He has to keep working, the goals will still come. He deserves to be where he is, he has to keep winning as he is doing".
