Djorkaeff: "The great strength of Inter Milan is to play as a great team"
The French former footballer in an interview with Sportmediaset spoke about Inter Milan
Djorkaeff has remained in the hearts of Inter fans. He is a French former professional footballer and in 1996 he signed with Inter Milan until 1999.
In an interview with Sportmediaset he spoke about Marcus Thuram and his father - as well as his great friend -, Lilian. Then also of Lautaro Martinez and the Ballon d'Or.
Youri Djorkaeff expressed his opinion about the French striker and the dad-friend: "What does Marcus Thuram have that is like a dad? Nothing! (laughs, ed.).
I like both brothers so much, I appreciate them. Marcus has a presence inside and outside the pitch today and that is very important for Inter Milan.
Before he was not a forward, now he has become, thanks to the work done at Inter Milan where he feels pressure, but it is a positive pressure".
Djorkaeff also talks about the Argentine striker: "Lautaro Martinez has won everything with Inter Milan and his national team and he still has many years of career.
I played with Zidane, Ronaldo and Weah who won the Ballon D'Or and for them it was not important, they were interested in winning".
Djorkaeff talks about the Armenian midfielder in particular: "Mkhitaryan is an Armenian brother. He is the strongest Armenian player, his career speaks for itself.
I like to watch him play and talk at interviews. He always fights".
Youri Djorkaeff has a personal opinion on the strength of the Nerazzurri: "The great strength of Inter Milan is to play as a great team, everyone fights for their teammate, there’s a will that is very strong.
Anyone scores, you can see the team work and it’s nice to see. The Nerazzurri are the favorites for the championship, the squad is strong and complete.
In Italy it will continue to do well and also in the Champions League in this new format".
