Interviewed for the MatchDay Programme of Inter Milan-Arsenal, the nerazzurri goalkeeper Yann Sommer had this to say about his adventure in Milan: "For me Inter Milan is a special team, the first year with these fans and what we did was fantastic. We are a strong group, we are all great professionals but we also have a lot of fun together.
In my role from the back I see all situations and I try to help my teammates and give my best, in saves and in the construction of the game.
My dad was a goalkeeper and when I was a kid at home, I always watched his gloves: I never thought much about it, I always loved football, playing with my friends and being in goal. My father was an inspiration in football and in life. In addition to him, many players impressed me, those who leave everything on the pitch, who play out of pure passion.
In training I like to challenge Lautaro. It's always nice for a goalkeeper to test himself against players like him and to deal with forwards like ours.
There are several legends I would like to challenge, but I say Zanetti because he is an inspiration for young people, a player with great personality.
Along with him I would also choose Ronaldo the phenomenon.
The Scudetto parade? A moment I will remember for the rest of my life, we celebrated after a very hard and beautiful season in which we played really hard.
Playing in a great club like Inter Milan is definitely something that makes me proud and has already made me experience special moments".
