Marotta:"We've continued on our virtuous and winning path"
President and CEO of Inter Milan, also spoke about the club's performance in various competitions

Beppe Marotta, president and CEO of Inter Milan, also spoke about the club's performance in various competitions.
From the stage at the "Merger and Acquisition Summit 2025," Beppe Marotta discussed Inter Milan's performance in the league and other international competitions:
"I believe the important thing is to be present at the right time, and we are. We are in three competitions, and in June, another new one will start, with two Italian teams involved.
We're here: the first appointment is today, in the Coppa Italia semi-final against Milan.
In the league, we have a three-point lead, which is nothing, but we’re here.
In the Champions League, we're in the quarter-finals and playing against Bayern.
This comes from the fact that the ownership has not disrupted a winning team, both on and off the field. We've continued on our virtuous and winning path, and we're very well positioned, which is a source of pride.

We'll try to approach everything in the best way, but we've already reached an initial goal because participating at these levels guarantees us peace of mind.
At the same time, I say that so far in the Champions League, we’ve played 10 matches and earned about 100 million euros (£83.5 million): if we won the league, we’d earn around 95 million euros (£79,3 million) from playing 38 matches.
A balance must be found, but with harmony and without violent contrasts like a few years ago.
Today, the gap is primarily related to TV rights, and the league is working on it. The second difference comes from matchday revenue from the stadium.
As Inter Milan, we were the first in terms of attendance and stadium revenue, reaching about 80 million euros (£66,8 million).
Our European competitors are ahead of us by 60-70 million euros (£50-58,4 million). That’s why we need the stadium, to create an asset that becomes a valuable property."
