Simone Inzaghi commented  the 2-0 win against Lecce: "The boys are serious and they work well"

Simone Inzaghi, Inter Milan head coach, commented the 2-0 win against Lecce at the Sky Sport microphone: "Hunger is always a must, but I was quite calm. The guys are training well, on Saturday in Genoa we had a good match, there were signs.

We had 2 goals to avoid, but I saw a team that was committed and fought.

We always want to win. Lautaro? Friday morning he woke up in pain, and together with the medical staff we decided not to risk it.

He is a generous man, he wanted to play today, but we are at the first matches: I am lucky enough to have other players, we will try to get him back by Friday, we will see it day by day".

"The changes after 70'? I think it was a coincidence. In the second half we were handling well, I didn’t see any problems.

Tonight I had 8 players on the bench, at the end of the first half they warm up to 5, and today I said to warm up to all 8.

I have the opportunity to choose, at this time with a game per week we can train more continuously.

We had some setbacks as they all have, but we are working well, as I say. The boys are serious and always work for the good of Inter Milan

Against Genoa and Lecce we struggled, but in terms of seriousness, concentration and application we made two excellent races".

"We must be anchored to Lautaro, Barella, Calhanoglu. We won last year because we had the whole squad that gave excellent signals.

As for Taremi, he integrated very well: tonight he made a low-profile race but it was very important for us, he ran for 95 minutes, he struggled, he was always at the service of the team.

I took Thuram out, who was doing a good race too. Arnautovic came in with a beautiful attitude".

At the end of the Inter-Lecce Matteo Darmian, awarded as men of the match, spoke to the Italian broadcaster DAZN
Inter Milan is focusing on young players and one is coming very soon to Milan and will be hired by the Youth Sector
