Simone Inzaghi, Inter Milan coach, spoke to Sky Sport’s microphones ahead of the upcoming season. Here are his words: "There is a lot of anticipation for this debut, we have done a good job since July 13: we had staggered arrivals but I am satisfied with the work and the commitment of the guys. Last year’s season was something wonderful, this year our commitment will have to be even higher: it will not be easy because the guys were amazing but we must always try to improve ourselves and we work every day for this.
I want to see concentration: we are champions of Italy, in the past seasons who defended the title had difficulties. We are talking to the guys, we will have to have a crazy concentration to always stay focused on our goals.
I gave a few more days of holiday because the guys gave me so much, I’m satisfied with how they presented themselves, I found great application by all and there is so much optimism for the debut on Saturday.
The team? We have confirmed last year’s team and we had three important grafts.
We had some small problems, but Arnautovic and Taremi have trained with us today, Zielinski is almost ready only De Vrij remains, who will have a few more days. But they are all things of ordinary administration.
The market? Until the end of the month it will be open, we have a lack in defense because of the injury of Buchahan: we are talking with the company, I have strong executives behind.
I met the new owners, they have great ambition as us: president Marotta, Ausilio, Baccin, Zanetti and Ferri are here every day to talk and see if from here to market end we will be able to put something inside.
