dumfries

The Dutch wingback is expected today at Pinetina. Next week his entourage will be in Milan to finalise the deal with Inter Milan.
Today Denzel Dumfries, along with de Vrij, is now back in training for Inter Milan. The usual question on the Dutch outside is: it will renew or go away already this summer.

As Tuttosport reports, his entourage will be in Milan at the beginning of the week to settle the last points on the contract. Dumfries will sign a new four-year deal until the end of June 2028 with Inter Milan. He will earns 4 million euros (£3,4 million) in addition to bonuses. He currently earns 2.5 million euros (£2,1 million) per year.

The Nerazzurri would have no intention of risking losing the Dutchman on a free transfer next summer when his contract expires, as happened with defender Milan Skriniar last summer.

Reports have indicated that Inter Milan would even try to sell Dumfries this summer if he did not sign a new deal, cashing in while they have the chance.

Dumfries has been linked with Manchester United and Aston Villa over the past few months. However, he is now set to stay at Inzaghi’s court.
“A negotiation match months ago and arrived at the close just in time to make a sigh of relief Simone Inzaghi, first fan of the renewal to avoid a double problem” daily Tuttosport says.
