Inter Milan locks down Bisseck: the price would need to be multiplied by five

Inter Milan isn’t listening, and with Oaktree’s new policy (focused on young talent), the squad will see more of Bisseck and fewer veterans.

Inter Milan locks down Yann Bisseck. The German central defender was acquired as an investment in the summer of 2023 and is now a regular starter in Simone Inzaghi’s formation as the right center-back. 

The Nerazzurri paid Aarhus €7.5 million (£6,2 million) for his transfer, but now the player is worth much more: "A valuation that brings a smile today and already seemed significantly outdated last summer," explains Quotidiano Sportivo via Fcinter1908.it. In Spain, Real Madrid was already showing interest with their scouts, and today Transfermarkt assigns him a value of €30 million (£25 million), perhaps even lower than his actual worth. 

To sit at the table, the price would need to be multiplied by five compared to two summers ago. 

However, Inter Milan isn’t paying attention to that, and with Oaktree’s new policy (focused on young talent), Bisseck will be seen more and more in the squad, with fewer veterans. 

The 24-year-old defender has proven to be a potential cornerstone for the future for many reasons.
