Nicolò Barella likely to miss the next Italy match because of injury

After their success against Belgium, Luciano Spalletti's national team returned to Italy to prepare for Sunday's match against France.
The Azzurri took advantage of Inter Milan's facilities and trained at the Pinetina. Here the physical condition of Nicolò Barella will be assessed, as Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport via Fcinter1908.it writes: "Despite qualifying for the Nations League quarter-finals, Spalletti will not change the line-up tomorrow against France. There will be a few changes, however, because get back on a pitch made heavy by the rain in Brussels fatigued the muscles and because a couple of Azzurri came off injured.
Barella suffered a muscular problem in his right thigh.
His situation will be assessed today in the afternoon session at the Pinetina (yesterday he had a defatiguing training session after arriving late in the morning at Malpensa).
The pair of forwards will be all new and Retegui will also be rested: in front there will be space for Kean and Raspadori, in advantage over Maldini.
Another possible change in the control room with Locatelli for Rovella. The coach, however, will monitor the energy left for the outfielders: it cannot be ruled out that one of Cambiaso (Gatti in with Di Lorenzo out wide) and Dimarco (Udogie ready) will rest.
