The French coach Didier Deschamps today announced the squad for the Nations League matches against Italy and Belgium, and the news is the absence of Pavard.
Bernjamin Pavard practically never played during the 2024 European Championship because Deschamps preferred to rely on the services other players.

France’s coach Didier Deschamps has announced the 23 players to be called up for the Nations League matches against Italy (6 September at the Parc des Princes) and Belgium (9 September in Lyon). On the list is Marcus Thuram.
During the press conference Deschamps said: "Benjamin has played his first matches with Inter Milan, I want to change something, seeing other players in view of the qualification for the World Cup.
We have more matches from here until the end of 2024 and it’s not definitive".
