How much did Inter Milan spend on the summer transfer window?

"But what was the impact of transfer market on the 2024/25 budget of Inter Milan? We tried to simulate the impact using data from public notices of clubs involved in various negotiations and the gossip about values and salaries reported by major media.

"Among the new purchases, the most expensive operation is that linked to Zielinski, which with only salary has the greatest impact on the budget.

According to the estimates of Calcio e Finanza, the incoming transactions between depreciation of footballers acquired outright and gross salaries (including footballers who have returned from loans and who have not yet found another location), should result in higher costs of around 30.1 million euros (£ 25 million) so far".

"Among the outgoing transactions, Inter Milan has made in particular the sales of Oristanio, Agoumé and Zanotti, with proceeds totalling 12 million euros (£10 million) and capital gains of about 11.3 million euros (£9.5 million).

Among the players to leave, in addition to the loan of Valentin Carboni to Olympique Marseille, are also considered the contract expires of Cuadrado, Klaassen, Sensi and Sanchez and the conclusion of the loan of Audero".

"Between revenue and expenditure, therefore, the impact on the budget 2024/25 of the transfer market, so far, should be translated into a positive impact of approximately 7.9 million euros (£6.6 million).

Whereas the only balance between income and expenditure in respect of outright transactions, the market session for Inter Milan sees a negative balance of about 8 million euros (£6.7 million)" points out Calcio e Finanza.
