Inter Milan head coach Simone Inzaghi has signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the club until 2026.

Inzaghi’s previous deal had been due to expire in 2025. Inzaghi has been in charge since 2021 and guided Nerazzurri to first Serie A title in three years last season.

He has guided Inter to two Coppa Italia successes, three consecutive Supercoppa Italiana titles and led them to the Champions League final in 2023, where they were beaten by Manchester City.

“Today, we begin a new journey together, our jersey will be embellished with the tricolour and the legendary second star, which we will carry with us for years to come. We will still have coach Simone Inzaghi with us. It is with great pleasure that I want to inform you that our relationship with Simone will continue until 2026, with the hope of continuing it even further." Inter President Giuseppe "Beppe" Marotta said.
