taremi

Mehdi Taremi sustained an injury (a muscle strain in the left thigh). He will try to recover for the first match with Genoa.

Inter Milan announced the news on its official website this afternoon. The note revealed that RMI tests detected a muscle strain in the left thigh but, the note, didn’t offer any estimations over his expected return date.

Mehdi Taremi made a glimpse in the first few days of an excellent condition, after a good start in the pre-season, with 5 goals in the first 3 friendlies so that it seemed to be in pole position for a starting shirt in the first season with Genoa.

According to Fcinter1908, Taremi should recover for about 10-15 days.

On 17 August, Inter Milan will open its championship at Genoa and, as reported by Sky Sport, the presence of the Iranian is not sure: “Taremi will try to recover for the first match with Genoa, scheduled for Saturday 17 August”.

Inzaghi hopes to catch the Iranian for his first official match, but the situation will have to be reassessed.

Next week’s medical assessment should shed some light on the situation.
