Inter Milan has secured the Italian defender with a contract renewal, but they can terminate the agreement by paying a penalty: figures and details.

He has become a true pillar of Inter Milan's defense under Simone Inzaghi.

Since returning from injury, Acerbi has maintained an extremely high level in both Italy and Europe.

Next week, he will be involved in the crucial clash against Harry Kane in the Champions League quarterfinals.

Inter Milan has secured Francesco Acerbi with a contract renewal.

However, he is also being called upon to step up in the Milan derby, as De Vrij is still not 100%.

As highlighted by calciomercato.com via Fcinter1908.it, "Inter Milan has secured him with a contract renewal until June 2026, with a salary of €1.5 million (£1,2 million) net per year.

The club, led by President Marotta, can terminate the agreement at the end of this season by paying him a penalty of €500,000 (£424.000).

But, at least for now, they have no intention of exercising this clause,” the report states.
